As a source of funds supporting the Sarcoma Unit Research Fund
(SURF), the Makevek Challenge is currently accepting donations
that will go directly towards this fund in order to further the
research of Dr. Ian Judson and his team at the Royal Marsden
Hospital. The goal for our first year of fundraising is to collect £50,000
for SURF via donations and fundraising events. Our climb of Kilimanjaro
in September of this year is intended to be a means of raising
awareness and support for SURF's research into the diagnosis
and treatment
of Ewing's Sarcoma. In the following months, we will be expanding
our donation schedule to include support and sponsorship for
our upcoming climbs as well as in-kind donations of goods and
services.

There are four ways you can support the Makevek Challenge:
1) INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE DONATIONS
At this time what is needed most is donations enough to make our target of £50,000 for the year.
All funds donated will go directly to SURF to aid Dr. Judson and his team. At this time we are accepting donations in any amount; we have provided a selection of popular donations, or you may fill in your own amount. Your donation grants an entry in our Donors and Sponsors list, as well as a spot on our e-mail and postal lists, which includes info regarding upcoming fundraisers, events and news of current and future climbs. 2) CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP
At this time, we are not actively seeking sponsorship for our projects. Please feel free to contact Mark Beevor, organizer of the Makevek Challenge, for more information regarding this level of sponsorship for upcoming climbs and events.
Expedition Benefactor - beginning at £100,000 (~ $150,000 US)
For complete namesake sponsorship at every level, the chosen expedition would bear your company's name and logo. Your company would be intimately involved in the promotional, logistical and fundraising opportunities presented, and would have close contact with the Makevek Challenge Team in all matters regarding the expedition and its planning. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities this sponsorship level represents.
Summit Sponsor - £50,000 - £100,000 (~ $75,000 - $150,000 US)
Camp 4 Sponsor - £25,000 - £49,999 (~ $36,000 - $74,999 US)
Basecamp Sponsor - £15,000 - £24,999 (~ $22,500 - $36,999 US)
Trail Sponsor - £5,000 - £14,999 (~ $7,000 - $22,499 US)
Anonymous Sponsorship - Please choose the amount appropriate for your donation.
3) DONATIONS OF GOODS AND SERVICES
Currently, we are not seeking donations of goods or services for our fundraisers, but WE ARE interested in donations of equipment or services related to the SURF fund and Dr. Judson's research. 4) SPONSOR AN EVENT OR FUNDRAISER
We have offered this option as an opportunity to become more involved with the Makevek Challenge's goal of climbing the Seven Summits to raise money for SURF, on a level more tailored to your or your organization's own goals and vision.
